HERMES Personal

HERMES is a private, self-hosted AI application operated by Priit Hunt for personal use with one Google account. The Google OAuth application is named “Hermes Personal”. HERMES is not a public service and does not offer public registration.

This website provides information about HERMES and its use of Google data. It does not provide access to the private application, its runtime or its internal services.

Google integration

The shared Google integration is being prepared and is not yet enabled. The functions described below become available only after the operator authorizes Google access and the integration passes its acceptance checks.

Calendar supports the Personal, Work, Family, Learning and Homelab profiles. Each profile uses its assigned calendar according to HERMES profile policy. Scheduling across profiles uses availability information rather than exposing another profile’s event details.

Personal and Work can use Gmail search and message reading, Gmail drafts, explicitly approved sending, and read-only Contacts access. They use the same Google account and mailbox; the profiles are not separate Google accounts or separate mailboxes. Family, Learning and Homelab do not receive Gmail or Contacts access.

Homelab Calendar is for tasks that need human or operator intervention, such as connecting an offline disk or performing a restore exercise. It is not used to copy routine automated jobs, timers or monitoring events into Calendar.

Google account data is used to provide the user’s approved HERMES functionality. It is not sold or shared with advertisers. Relevant Google-derived content may be processed by the configured AI model provider when answering the user’s request. Self-hosting does not mean that every AI request stays on the operator’s hardware.

Read the Privacy notice for data processing, storage, retention and access removal, and the Terms of use for the application’s use conditions.
